A Floriescence initiative

Artists shouldn't have to create alone.

Artists for Artists STL is a creative community for St. Louis artists who want to grow, connect, create and be seen. Different disciplines, different stages, same room.

About us

St. Louis is full of creative talent.

Our purpose

To help artists build their practice, find their people and share their work with the world.

Talent doesn't always come with access. Artists may have the idea, the skill or the vision, but not know where to find the collaborator, resource, opportunity or community that moves it forward.

Artists for Artists exists to close that gap. We bring creatives from different disciplines and stages of their journey together to develop their craft, exchange ideas and resources, build real relationships and create chances to share their work.

Participation over presentation. We don't want artists to sit through another networking event. We want everyone to leave having actually done something.

Our pillars

Three ways to grow.

The journey looks different for every artist. Every gathering connects to one of these three parts of it.

pillar one

Create Within

Discover the artist within yourself. Creative identity, confidence, fear of visibility, perfectionism and creative blocks.

Who am I as a creative, and what do I want to express?A creative development space, not a replacement for licensed mental health care.
pillar two

Create Together

Find your people and build something meaningful. Collaboration, skill exchange, peer learning and production.

Who can I learn from, collaborate with and create alongside?
pillar three

Create in Public

Let the world experience your work. Performance, exhibition, screenings, showcases and features.

How can I share my creativity in ways that open new opportunities?

Idea → Connection → Creation → Visibility
